  • Tracking is just annoying and a complete time suck that never works long term.
  • Following the Instagram model's meal plan (that she doesn't even follow) ends
    in feelings of envy and wanting to throw your smartphone out the window.
  • Tapping or emotional processing may help with some emotional eating but doesn't break the
    habitual cycle (and who wants to tap their forehead or bust their journal out at the dinner table?!)
  • Therapy and self help just leaves you feeling broken because of the constant messaging saying that that you need to "fix" yourself to fix your relationship with your body and food.

The biggest secret I learned on my journey: I wasn't broken and neither are you. It's the mainstream methods that promise freedom but only set you up for failure that are about as broken as they can get.
